Blue is a tender‑hearted, timid young girl around 1.5 years old. She’s gentle, people‑friendly, and dog‑friendly, and her whole face lights up when she sees other dogs. She gets excited when she spots ducks, so she may react the same way with cats; while she has seemed unfazed by the cats she’s briefly encountered, she has not had a full cat test yet.

Since arriving at the rescue, Blue has learned “sit” and “touch,” and she’s doing wonderfully on a leash. She came to us with very little socialization, so she’ll need a patient, understanding family—and a

confident companion dog—to help guide her. She has already made incredible progress, and with continued training and a nurturing home, she will truly blossom.

Blue is available for foster or adoption. Because she may need more than one meet‑and‑greet to feel comfortable, we are seeking a local adopter. She has had a few meets so far, and we can’t wait to see her find her forever home.
